Looking forward to a jolly sociable social this Wednesday 6th December 6:30-9pm at the Quaker meeting House.
This month’s social will be a very relaxed and social social. A chance to celebrate all the good projects and people involved in the network whilst having the chance to try your hand at a range of different activities.
We will have a number of Free and ‘Pay As You Feel’ activities (to cover materials) including:
– Hapa Zome flag or card making (leaf bashing)
– Hand soaks and hand massages
– String nail art
– Flavoured salts
– Wreath making
We will also have HOT SOUP (suggested donation £1) and tbc live music!
We will be running a little evaluation to get more feedback to improve socials for 2018
The social starts at 6.30pm and runs until 9pm, there will be a space for announcements at 8pm but will be less structured with activities, food and socialising happening simultaneously.
We also encourage you to bring along any half finished craft project to work on during the social.
All are welcome – children (if accompanied by an adult), newbies or regulars! The socials are designed to cater to a range of experience and knowledge – it’s the perfect space for learning something new, building on your current knowledge, or meeting new like-minded people.
We will also have a market stall so feel free to bring along products and wares that you have grown or made yourself to sell. For those giving gifts around this time of year a great chance to pick up something local and handmade 🙂
You can find directions to the venue here: www.leedspermaculturenetwork.org/socials/directions-to-socials-venue/
Donations for refreshments & room hire are welcome if you can 🙂
See you there,
